The wedding was magical. We loved the castle, the grounds, and having our closest friends and family to share this special week-end with us was incredible. The flowers and color scheme were right on what we were envisioning: I absolutely loved my bouquet!! Everybody had a lot of fun with Tony to make a great set of pictures where everyone was always laughing! There were some tears as well as the ceremony was beautiful and very emotional for all of us, including Lesley! And the food was delicious! The piper, the hair and makeup ladies, the castle staff, everyone was really nice. Thank you for helping us make of this week-end an amazing memory for all of us. Hi Natasha - Thanks very much for the message! We both agree that the wedding was well above our expectations. Lesley, Tony, and Iain were all very pleasant and all extremely easy to work with. We received many comments from our guests in how much they loved the ceremony and Tony's energy. Iain's music was exactly what we wanted as well. Everything at the Rufflets was very nice. The food, the staff, and the service were all exceptional. ….we were blessed with a picture perfect day so we moved the wedding outside into their gardens which worked out better than we could have ever imagined. It really was a perfect day and we both would like to thank you. We are both looking forward to the rest of Tony's pictures. The pictures already sent are amazing. They sort of wet our appetite. All of the help and support you gave us prior to the wedding (including the visa fiasco) was amazing, and we were both so grateful to have somehow found you online back in March. We really could not have wished for a more wonderful day, or better people to give us a wedding most people only can dream of. It was spectacular. Everyone at the Rufflets were equally as wonderful, particularly Sarah and the gentleman who mc'd the evening for us. At one particular moment (just before I walked outside down the aisle) I turned around to the Rufflets team and asked (jokingly) if I could do just a little shot of whisky before taking the plunge, to which they all literally were tripping over themselves to get one for me (and ask me what kind in particular I would like). I had to convince them that I was joking because they were insisting it would be no problem at all:). Wow. In any event we are extremely grateful for all you did for us, and hope you can extend our thanks to everyone who was involved at Highland Country Weddings. We are trying to come back to reality in New York, but it's really difficult.......I wish we could hop back on the plane and head back to Scotland to do it all over again:). Celeste and I would like to thank you again for the wonderful wedding we had. We were so happy with the Laird and Balgonie Castle, it really made our wedding special. The Laird is an absolute treasure. The cake was absolutely gorgeous too. Without your help, we would not have had such a memorable wedding. Every time Celeste and I actually think about our wedding trip, we realize how special it was, and how much you really contributed to making it so. We returned from Scotland last night. We had a wonderful trip and everything about the wedding was beautiful! (It was my 15 minutes of fame, I think, with all of the tourists snapping away). Hi Natasha, You heard right, our wedding was absolutely amazing. We just got back from our honeymoon and we already had Tony's pictures in the mail. I can't choose a favorite, they're beautiful. Most of the landscape doesn't even look real because it is so amazing. I don't think we could have picked a better place - I'm not sure how we ever managed to leave. Our honeymoon was great, and we got to see many cities throughout Europe, but nothing compares to our time in Scotland. I don't even know if I can describe what I thought of everything. It was definitely more than I imagined. The castle was beautiful, the weather was beautiful, the Craigmonie Hotel was beautiful, and our cake was amazing. Everyone was super, went above and beyond, and our entire family had a wonderful time. At the reception, the food was excellent, and have you seen a picture of the cake? Wow! I didn't want to eat it, it was too pretty. I guess we'll just have to make plans to come back in the near future :) Thank you so much for all you've done, everything was perfect! Natasha, Well, we are on the train from Paris back to London on our way back to the states. I think I can speak for everyone in attendance at our recent event in giving you and HCW an A++ for your efforts. Rarely in our lives especially these days are our expectations met, but when they are exceeded it is quite a nice surprise. Lady Dundee was simply delightful and the castle was amazing. Hello, my wonderful wedding planners!!! Thank you so much for everything--you came through beautifully. I was amazed at seeing our vision for the day unfold in front of us. We just got back yesterday so it was really nice to get in and find the photos ready for us!! It really was a fantastic day and Lesley was wonderful, between tracking down lost in-laws (she has a future as a detective!!) and doing everything she could to keep people happy including running 20 miles to get cigarettes, I was very impressed. I'd obviously scared you guys with my micromanagement of the dining room decor, both Lesley and Amanda looked really relieved that I liked it looked perfect, they managed to create the elegant but warm atmosphere I wanted and I think everyone had a wonderful time, William and myself included. Dear Janis, Lewis and I want to thank you for helping us plan a day that we will never forget! We felt comfortable, relaxed, and prepared as we traveled from California to Inverness. The months of preparation, emails, and the like paved the way for a romantic, elegant, thoughtful, family-centric experience. Everything was exactly as we had imagined it to be, but better and absolutely memorable. We brought over 70 guests with us from all around the world and each and every one of them has remarked that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. The flowers were spectacular and the accommodation and service at Tulloch Castle put us over the moon! The folks at Tulloch ensured that everything was to our liking, they never rushed us or made us feel like we were on any sort of schedule. However, the night rolled along like clockwork and not a detail was missed. Chills ran up the spines of our guests as we were piped into the dining hall and greeted our guests as Mr. and Mrs. Wooler for the first time. Janis, you have a way of making everything seem possible and easing the worries of the bride with too much on her plate. You even helped us in moving our date and rescheduling everything with minimal fees. What could have been the most stressful day of my life was instead the most beautiful day of our lives. Dear Natasha, Well, what can we say other than the wedding exceeded all our expectations. Boturich Castle was grand and very comfortable. The weather was so fantastic, we moved the wedding outside. As for the catering, it was superb. The food was perfect and the service impeccable. All the entertainment was terrific. The wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. Dear Natasha, We had an absolutely spectacular wedding! Thank you very much for all of your assistance and thanks to Helen, to whom I never got the chance to say anything but hello because it all worked so smoothly! (My mom says she was lovely). Apart from the stunning locale, the piper was our favourite part. My sister and I highland danced for 12 years and danced for pipe bands so I can tell an excellent piper when I hear one! He played some dancing music for us that I recognized. The Reverend Farquharson was lovely, too. We went to his Sunday service the weekend before the wedding and he gave us a tour of his church.

The wedding was rather an event in Stonehaven. 'everything was top notch'

Hi Natasha, Calvin and I had an absolute amazing time. Our parents have commented time and time again that this was the most memorable wedding they have ever been to… …The flowers were gorgeous and better than I expected. I cannot say enough about. The service, food, room, ambiance, everything was top notch. I wish we could have spent more time there but we had a pretty ambitious itinerary. Doune castle was a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We all enjoyed spending time with the Registrar (Theresa) and we will send her note as well thanking her once again for all her help and guidance. The limo experience was also fantastic. Our driver was quite charming and enjoyed chatting with us as we drove around. There is not any one thing that we can complain about, nor would we have made any changes.. 'making this special day just perfect'

Andrew, the piper was great. He extended the official ceremony a bit with a few wonderful words when leading me into the room and when cutting the cake. We're so glad we had him! Laura and Anne for make-up and hair were stars ... not only in their fields of expertise, but also in calming down a very, very nervous bride ;-) The cake was lovely (both from the looks and the taste ;-). My mother actually brought a small piece home with her to share with some relatives. We were extremely lucky to have sunshine all day - and could therefore take full advantage of the beautiful castle grounds. The dinner in the evening was fantastic and delicious as well (the first time I had a "pre-dessert" in my life I think - It was actually a five course dinner). Again, thank you very much to you and the Highland Country Weddings team for assisting in making this special day just perfect. Hi Natasha! We're back from our honeymoon almost a week now and went back to work on Monday! Everything was absolutely wonderful Natasha, thanks so much for your help. We just got home a day or two ago and are pretty tired (in a happy way), but are now preparing for the family to arrive! The B&B's were wonderful and our only problem really is that we didn't enjoy Ireland as much as Scotland and wished we had planned more time in Scotland instead! The Highlands set the bar. Hi Janis, It seems a very long time now since I last wrote to you and the torrent of emails that flowed in both directions prior to the wedding! Just wanted to say thanks very much for all your help in planning the wedding and helping the day itself to run smoothly. It seems strange now looking back that we went through a whole year's planning to arrange a single day(!), but that's the way weddings are I guess.. Anyway it was a perfect day - the weather, the ceremony at the Cathedral, the Castle, meal and party all went down very well, although it seemed to go past very quickly! Everyone enjoyed themselves and for our Chinese and Japanese guests coming to a "traditional" Scottish wedding was quite an experience! Now we're a world away back in Tokyo, busy with work and getting settled into our new flat.
