- 10+ years of planning - we have over 10 years of planning weddings in Scotland and are efficient and experienced. Janis created and ran successfully, along with Natasha the very first wedding agency in the Highlands. There is no wedding that we find a 'problem' to plan. Do you have a wild idea for your wedding? Just ask us!
- Full-time staff - we have a full-time staff, working exclusively on wedding planning, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. You can contact us any time by phone or e-mail and be assured of a speedy response. We are also available in person to suit your schedule.
- Contact in your country - we have a contact in your country, facilitating fast and easy communication in your own time zone and your own language. Our offices are in Los Angeles, USA, Italy, Holland and in Inverness, Scotland. We also have the advantage of being able to draw on several people's expertise and experience so while you will be assigned one wedding planner, one point of contact for your wedding, you will have the combined expertise of experienced planners. We will also assist you every step of the way with the legal paperwork whichever country you are from.
- Understand - we understand the needs, expectations and cultural requirements
of our clients - we live and work in your country. We listen to your every
wish and unless you indicate otherwise, we do not say 'leave it to us' to
decide on all the details. We feel this is important so that you are not
given a one-size-fits-all wedding as you get from other wedding planners.
- Objective advice - we will give you our honest opinion about the suitability of venues for your particular requirements. We have our own pictures and client reviews for many venues - sometimes venue websites are a little lacking in information. And, if you want us to check out a particular hotel or B&B for comparison, with some extra pictures perhaps, just let us know. We aim to provide a complete and independent 'picture'.
- Anywhere in Scotland - we cover the whole of Scotland - there are over 3,000 ancient castles and fortified houses in Scotland; HCW offers the largest selection of venues and outdoor areas, to its clients.
- Testimonial driven - we openly publish the latest unedited feedback testimonials from our clients - both on the website and on the blog - the greatest validation of all. Need further client insight? HCW can provide contact information for past clients. We are a 'people's choice' wedding agency.
- Weekly blog - we maintain a blog - updated weekly with tons of great information for the bride and groom and their guests. Venue reviews, client feedback, great photographs of the latest weddings and the latest information on having a wedding in Scotland.
- Album pages of flowers & cakes - we maintain album pages. Hundreds of examples of flowers, cakes, wedding favours, table dressings can be browsed through these pages - all from past weddings. You can get an idea of what you might want by browsing through these pages, saving you time on searching through other specialty websites.
